I truly am so thankful for the men and women that serve our country. It’s certainly something that I could never do myself and I know that as a wife I could never go through having my husband in the military. It certainly takes special people to be able to endure this. One of the most heartwarming things I love to watch are those service men and women who return home and are reunited with their loved ones. It not only makes me appreciate all that they sacrifice so we can have the freedom we do, but it makes me appreciate my own family as well. We’ve all seen these videos and because they are so touching they certainly never get old to watch. Little did the woman in this video know that while she’s about to have dinner with her family at Chick-Fil-A she would get the surprise of a lifetime.
As the Fourth of July holiday is upon is it’s the perfect time to take the time to appreciate those that serve our country. Let us all remember that this weekend as we go to our parties and barbecues. If you know anyone that has served or is serving, be sure to thank them and maybe even do something nice for them. It’s because of their service that we have the freedom we are celebrating this weekend.
