I’ve never surfed, but my husband does, as well as many of our friends. They all say the same thing about surfing: it’s definitely not easy. It’s hard to pick up and get the hang of, and it’s a sport you have to practice all the time not only to get better, but to maintain your level of ability. Surfing alone is one thing, but throw someone else on the board and do acrobatic tricks with them and you’ve taken the meaning of surfing to a whole new level. That’s exactly what the couple in this video do. Tandem Surfing World Champions Chuck Inman and Lauren Oiye do some incredible acrobatic moves while riding a wave! It’s nothing like you’ve ever seen before. You’ve got to see it for yourself.
Every time I watch this video I am left in awe. I can’t imagine having the kind of balance, flexibility, and strength needed to do this. I’m pretty sure this isn’t going to be a sport I pick up anytime soon. I’ll just keep watching the professionals do these amazing tricks.
