7. Start a Band
If you’re musically inclined, you probably want to pass down your talent to your children. I sure love seeing my kids play around on our piano! Even if you don’t have instruments, you can make some together. Check out our article, 9 Musical Crafts The Kids Will Love for great ideas! Then let those creative juices flow as you and your children make beautiful music (and memories) together.
8. Plant a Vegetable Garden
You know an easy way to get your kids to eat more veggies? Plant a vegetable garden with them. If they can see the fruits (or veggies) of their labor, they are more likely to embrace them. (Ok, it may or may not work, but it’s worth a shot!) Besides, at the very least, you can teach them about how vegetables grow, and get them excited about the great outdoors.
9. Feed the Ducks
Another wonderful childhood memory I have is going down to the lake with my grandmother and cousins to feed the ducks. I’ve taken my son to a local park to do this, and he loves it! Grab some bread or crackers, and head to the water with your kids for a spec-quackular afternoon.
