4. Frozen Bagged Meals
If you live near a Trader Joe’s, run, don’t walk, to their frozen food section and pick from any number of dozens of bagged meals. They are healthy, come in great portions, are unique and insanely affordable. I personally love their frozen Japanese Fried Rice, Penne Arrabiata, Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina and Chinese Chicken Fried Rice. These are very easy for a babysitter to prepare, can be made in 1 skillet and they all taste amazing!

5. Cold Cuts For Sandwiches
Even if your kids just eat PB&J, having cold cuts, bread and cheese is a nice and easy way to make sure your sitter eats dinner. Almost everyone loves a sandwich and they will appreciate a stress-free option that doesn’t require cooking for your kids.

6. Crock Pot Meals
While making a crock pot meal requires some work on your part, it’s minimal in comparison to having an entire meal coming out of the oven when the sitter arrives. You can make soups, chili, stews, pasta and every meat imaginable in a slow cooker and many will shut off on their own when done cooking. It leaves minimal clean up for the sitter and you know exactly what the kiddos are eating. We have some great lists of slow cooker meals for you right here, here and here!
