7. Breakfast For Dinner (aka Brinner)
Everyone loves breakfast! Waffles, pancakes, eggs, toast- all of these items are not difficult to make and you probably have all the pancake mix and syrup you need to make it happen. This is a great option if you forgot to make something ahead of time and will make the kids pretty happy too.

8. Rice Bowls
With the invention of microwave rice and rotisserie chicken, your babysitter can easily make tasty rice bowls without even turning on the stove. Keep cans of corn, beans and a few sauces on hand like teriyaki and soy sauce and you’ve got a healthy meal ready to go.

9. French Dip Sandwiches
Instead of leaving fixings for cold sandwiches, you can put together this simple version of the French Dip sandwich. It uses rolls and deli meat, instead of the long-cooked roast beef traditional version. Once assembled, it can be melted in a toaster oven or in a regular oven quickly. Quick and tasty!

10. Tacos
Instead of leaving the sitter to brown piping hot ground beef while watching your kids, just make it ahead of time and store in the fridge. When it’s time for dinner, all they have to do is heat up in the microwave and bring out all the fixings.
