I love crafts, but you know what I don’t like? Difficult and expensive crafts. They make me stressed out because I don’t want to waste my time and money and so I usually stay away from them. That’s just one of many reasons I love embroidery hoop crafts! If you’re like me, your earliest memory of an embroidery hoop was watching your grandma whip up some awesome cross stitches. But embroidery hoops are as versatile as the day is long, and you can actually use them for SO many things that don’t involve a needle and thread. So check out this list and get crafting!

1. Memo Board
This craft is super simple and super functional- two of my favorite things! Instead of having a boring cork board, why not create your own memo board using a large embroidery hoop (or quilters hoop), stretch some fabric and twine and hang in a cute place. I love that you can customize by picking out your favorite fabric and even adding a bow.

2. Pumpkins
How adorable are these pumpkins?! I just love decor that isn’t so obvious and these fit the bill. It’s a quick and also super inexpensive craft that is perfect for the Fall.

3. Embroidery Hoop Pocket
We all have things we need on constant basis, but leave all over the house: keys, glasses, pacis. You get the picture. Why not create an adorable catch all for your favorite items to keep them within arms reach? This would be a cute to have in an office, craft room, or even by your nightstand. Adding a pocket to an embroidery hoop keeps it cute but also functional.
