6. Coffee Pot
If you’re a java drinker, you will be the first to say how dirty coffee pots can be. Coffee stains easily, and coffee grounds simply just get everywhere. Add a husband who makes the coffee but rarely cleans the coffee maker, and your coffee pot looks like its destined for the trash. But never fear, vinegar and baking soda are here! To clean the innards of your pot, pour about a cup of vinegar into your glass urn and fill the remainder with water. Then pour into your maker and run a cycle. You’ll be surprised at how dirty the water comes out! Rest assured, vinegar odor dissipates very quickly, so you won’t be smelling or tasting it on your next brew. If a wash with soap doesn’t get the stains out of your urn, then sprinkle a tiny bit of baking soda in the urn (after you’ve poured out the dirty water), take a wet paper towel and rub the baking soda all over the inside of the pot. You will see all the stains remove onto your paper towel. Rinse well and your pot is clean!

7. Toaster
Toasters are another victim of splattering food from the stove, crumb collection and infrequent cleaning. They are often stowed away when not in use so can be left to get pretty dirty over time. Little did you know you probably have the best cleaning solution for your toaster in your pantry! All you need is some Cream of Tartar (yes, the spice) and a few drops of water. Mix until its milky in appearance and sponge onto your toaster. Then scrub off and wipe dry!

8. Microwave
Microwaves have doors to create an enclosed space, but also to hide all the exploded food that always seems to be inside! If you’ve ever tried to clean yours from all the dry, caked on food you know it doesn’t come off easily. And if your microwave is mounted (and you’re short) it’s hard to reach up and scrub for long periods of time. To make your life easier, fill a microwave safe bowl with vinegar and microwave for 3-5 minutes, depending on your microwave settings. Carefully remove the bowl with oven gloves and then use a sponge to easily wipe down your oven. Not so hard anymore, is it!?
