
4. At the Firestation
Younger kids are fascinated by the swirling lights and blaring sirens of a fire engine. The cool thing is that most local fire stations will let your party reserve a time for the kids to come and talk to the firemen and take a tour of the shiny, red truck. Afterwards, bring the kids back to your place for water play (with hoses, of course) and creative games, like a Stop, Drop, and Roll relay–a variation on the game Red Light, Green Light that has the kids rolling over the finish line (and you laughing hysterically).
