If you know me you know that I love anything to do with crafts or DIY projects. I love being able to make something that I can look at and enjoy. It means so much more to me when I make it with my own hands and my own time than if I were to just buy it from the store. With Valentine’s Day coming up, I’ve been searching for fun DIY holiday decor to decorate my house with. A house is never a home without a little holiday decor. Through my searches I have found some really adorable pieces of decor that are easy to make and will make your home look so fun and festive. Here are 9 of the best Valentine’s Day DIY decor that I’ve found.

1. Love Scrabble Blocks
I’m sure you’ve all seen the Scrabble letter crafts where people make larger versions of the blocks that spell out fun words. This is another one of those crafts, but I love that this version has sheets of old books attached to each block. It creates a more vintage look and is more interesting to the eye than just the plain piece of wood. You can make these as large or as little as you’d like, which gives you more options as to where you can put these in your home. I think my favorite place for them would be on top of a mantle.

2. Conversation Hearts Banner
Banners are always fun pieces of decor, especially for the holidays. Conversation hearts are such a big piece of Valentine’s Day that your holiday decor wouldn’t be complete without having a little bit of them somewhere. The best part is that these are not only cute for adults to look at, but they’re really fun for kids to look at and read, as well. It might be dangerous to have this hanging in my house, though, because it might make me want to eat those little pieces of sweetness.

3. XO Tissue Paper Wreath
I actually made this wreath last year for my Valentine’s Day decor and I absolutely love, love, love it! Not only does it look incredibly cute, but it’s super easy and inexpensive to make, as well. All you need is tissue paper and some scrap pieces of cardboard. I don’t hang it on my front door, but I hang it inside my home on one of our walls. You can use red tissue paper, pink, white or even all three! You can even make the letters smaller and make XOXO instead of just XO. The possibilities are endless with this piece of decor.
