7. Boot Socks
With chilly weather comes boots and nice toasty boot socks. As a woman, you can never have enough variety when it comes to your wardrobe, so why not save a few bucks and make your own boot socks? It’s as simple as cutting off the sleeves of on old sweater and sewing a hem so they don’t unravel. Boot socks are cute in solids or prints, so no sweater is left behind!

8. Wreath
I love wreaths and haven’t taken a stab at making a sweater one, but you can bet I will now! Using the sleeves of an old sweater, simply hot glue the material around your wreath form. You can decorate with anything you’d like: felt flowers, fake berries or lace. So adorable and so wintery!
This beautiful wreath and a tutorial can be found over at TinySideKick.com. You’ll also find tons of other tips on entertaining, crafts and printables (my personal fav).

9. Sweater Vases
We’ve already established that sweaters make everyone think of fall and chilly weather. You can even dress up your existing decor to bring it into season, such as plain vases or candle holders. Use the sleeves of your old sweater to easily slip over those boring vases. If you have larger vases that won’t fit inside the sleeves, you can just use the body of the sweater and some creative gluing. These are the happiest and snuggliest I’ve ever seen!
