4. Migraines/Headaches
Migraines, or even headaches in general, are very common for people with gluten intolerance. You will usually have frequent headaches and migraines, especially 30-60 minutes after eating gluten.
5. Fibromyalgia/Chronic Pain
Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition that causes widespread pain in your muscles, ligaments, and tendons. It only affects about four percent of people in the United States, mostly women. It can often times be a sign of gluten intolerance, as well as chronic pain in general.
6. Mood Swings
If you’re having all these symptoms and your body is constantly fighting against gluten, then of course your brain is going to be unhappy. This will cause you to be moody, angry, sad, depressed, and lots of other emotions. You may often find yourself upset or anxious for no explainable reason, but now you may understand why you’re feeling that way.
