1. Gold Christmas Lights
Who said Christmas lights can only be used around the holidays? To make them look less Christmas-y spray paint the cord gold (or any color, really). It will make them pop and look more like decoration for you home instead of decoration for the holidays.

2. Faux Metal Dollar Store Bins
Those metal bins you see at parties that people use for cold drinks and other fun items look great. I love the way they look, but don’t really love the price tag. Instead of spending a lot of money on buying a real metal tub, buy some plastic ones from the dollar store and spray paint them silver. No one will ever know the difference unless they actually touch the bin.
