Anyone that loves to craft or DIY knows the value of spray paint. There are so many great ways to use spray paint and it seems like every time I jump on Pinterest I find a new idea. What’s even better about spray paint is that it’s pretty cheap! You can buy a can for less than $4 and it will actually last through a few projects. Spray paint can take so many items in and around your home from boring and even ugly, to fun and beautiful. If you’re looking for ways to update your home a little without spending your life’s savings, check out these 9 ways spray paint can glam up your home.
1. Gold Christmas Lights
Who said Christmas lights can only be used around the holidays? To make them look less Christmas-y spray paint the cord gold (or any color, really). It will make them pop and look more like decoration for you home instead of decoration for the holidays.

2. Faux Metal Dollar Store Bins
Those metal bins you see at parties that people use for cold drinks and other fun items look great. I love the way they look, but don’t really love the price tag. Instead of spending a lot of money on buying a real metal tub, buy some plastic ones from the dollar store and spray paint them silver. No one will ever know the difference unless they actually touch the bin.

3. Update Vent Covers
There are so many things in our home that over the years get dingy and ugly. Air vents are one of these. If yours are looking old, take them off and give them a new coat of spray paint. It will liven them up and make them look brand new without breaking the bank.
