The Reality Of Getting A Toddler To Eat Is Actually Quite Hilarious

If you have or have ever had a toddler, you know how frustrating meal times can be. The entire breakfast, lunch, and dinner is spent fighting and arguing with your child trying to get them to eat their food. It’s incredibly exhausting and frustrating. I never thought this would be a funny matter, until I saw this video that Jennifer Todryk, author or creator of Life As A Rambling Redhead blog, posted of her son eating. The excuses he comes up with in order to get out of eating the food are absolutely hilarious. If you have a toddler, you’ll certainly appreciate this. I know us moms can all use a good laugh, especially when it comes to something that we’re all so frustrated with.

Didn’t that feel like you were watching and listening to yourself and your own child fight over food? I’ve heard some of those same excuses from my son. My favorite excuse that Jennifer’s son gave was, “That’s trash!” Oh, toddlers. They’re so incredibly adorable, yet so incredibly frustrating at the same time. The struggle is real, am I right?
