7. Bathroom Hand Dryers
Not to be outdone by being grouped into the Public Restroom category, are hand dryers. The non-Dyson speed dryers have been studied and shown they can actually INCREASE the bacteria on your by up to 45%! Part of the problem is these dryers rarely dry your hands completely, and thus leave them wet and a great space for bacteria to grow. I’m guessing people with dirty hands also end up touching the nozzle, leaving it germy and capable of spreading growing bacteria. Have your kids use paper towels and nix the hand dryer!
