3. Keep Only The Best Keepsakes
While I’m an organized person, I’m also very nostalgic and hate throwing away keepsakes. I actually have a number of pieces of “art” from my 2 year old stuck to my fridge as we speak because I can’t bear to toss them. The same goes for your children, who think every craft and drawing is Picasso worthy. Keep their art for a reasonable amount of time, and then sit down together and decide which are going to your “forever” pile and which are ok to throw away. A great way to store artwork is to pick your favorites and then laminate them. You can use them for holiday decorations, and store them with the rest of your seasonal items. That way, they get prime viewing during the holidays!
