7. Everything In Its Place
If you’re going to ask your kids to put things away, make sure you have a place for everything. I love shopping at Home Goods because they have tons of cute fabric bins for very cheap. Let your kids help you pick out ones they like so they will be more inclined to use it. Organize all aspects of your home, not just the kids room and play room. Make sure there’s a place to hang their backpacks, store their shoes and stack their homework. As soon as they see your request to stay organized is not a punishment but a way of life, they’ll love it!
