7. Walk, Walk, Walk
Walking is healthy, easy and requires no equipment or gym membership fees. Sure, you can park far away from the grocery store or skip the elevator, but why stop there? Stock up on podcasts and walk laps while you’re waiting for the kids to be done with practice. Ask your boss or coworker if your weekly check-in or brainstorming session can be done on the go.
8. Go Back to Class
Forget New Year’s! Fall is the real kickoff point for new resolutions and opportunities.
Lessons and classes tend to kick off with the school year, so look for opportunities to try something new or pick up an old passion. Sign up for a rec league, dance class or walking group.
9. Get Off the Couch
Don’t worry, I’m not advocating abandoning your fall shows or Netflix queue! Just let your time in front of the boob tube pull double-duty.
Make commercial breaks exercise breaks. Or, if you’re a Netflix addict (guilty!), take five-minute workout breaks between episodes.
