There are a lot of ways to present and arrange fruit, and some are more difficult than others. I personally have a hard time figuring out the easiest way to cut fruits and vegetables (like butternut squash) so that I don’t chop off my finger and so that I get as much of the meat out as I can. In this video, Jennifer Jenner shows a rather simple way to cut watermelon into perfect sizes AND how to present it beautifully, all in 1 step! I know I won’t cut another watermelon any other way. Check it out!
Why have I never thought of cutting off the rind BEFORE trying to cut the rest? Not only does this make perfect sized portions, but it’s less messy too!
