4. Is It Okay To Ask For A Refund If Unhappy?
Most stylists will usually offer a discount, refund, or free service for your next visit if they make a mistake or find out that you are unhappy with what they’ve done. However, if they don’t, don’t be afraid to ask. Simply explain how unhappy you are with what happened and explain that you don’t feel like you’ve gotten your money’s worth. However, always remember to be kind and courteous. The stylist will more than likely be happy to work it out with you.
5. Is It Acceptable For Your Stylist To Be Running Behind?
Although it’s never fun to wait when you have an appointment set, the unfortunate truth is that it happens. Stylists simply can not help it if they’re clients show up late putting their whole schedule for the day behind. However, if this is something that happens every time you get your hair done it may be a problem. Try saying something to your stylist to see if they can fix their scheduling. If you feel uncomfortable talking to your stylist about it, talk to the owner and have them talk to the stylist about it.
6. Is It Okay To Cancel My Appointment?
Look, life happens. We all understand that accidents and emergencies happen to everyone. As a result, it’s ok if you have to cancel your appointment. However, it is common courtesy to give at least 24 hour notice if you must cancel. Obviously, if you absolutely have an emergency that can not wait, simply explain the situation to your stylist and they should understand.
