The holidays have arrived and for most of us that means sharing our days (and nights) with family and friends. While entertaining can seem daunting, you can help your guests feel right at home by following these simple tips.

1. Clean Up and De-Clutter
It goes without saying that cleaning up your guest room or space where your guests will be staying is a must. Take it a step further and check under the bed for “unwanted” guests (think: dust bunnies and creepy crawlies) and blow up that air mattress to make sure it retains air. No one wants a grumpy guest who wakes up un-expectantly on the floor! This is also a great chance to de-clutter your guest room, which may have lately become the dumping ground for your old clothes and toys. Don’t forget to clean your guest bathroom. Get the often-neglected areas that like to collect dust and hair, like behind your door and toilets and your guests will thank you!
