10 Signs You Have The Coolest Grandparents Ever

There’s no doubt about the fact that grandparents are amazing people. It’s wonderful to have grandparents that are still living and that you are able to visit with and talk with frequently. Not everyone is so lucky to have this opportunity, and not everyone has amazingly cool grandparents. I mean, let’s just be honest, some grandparents are certainly cooler than others and I’m sure we all think we have the coolest grandparents ever. Well, here are 10 signs that you know you, or your kids, have the best grandparents around.

1. They Know How To Text

There’s nothing better than a grandma or grandpa that knows how to text you. Even if it’s just a little “I love you,” or “Thinking of you” here and there, it’s wonderful that they are keeping up with technology and living as much as they can in the now and future instead of staying in the past. It also allows you to keep your relationship alive and ensures your ability to keep in touch with them even more.

2. They Rock Their Style

No matter what style your grandparents have, whether they are rocking the hottest Calvin Klein jeans or sporting the same cat sweater they wore in the 80s, as long as they rock it, who cares. They’re old enough and experienced enough when it comes to life to not have to worry about what other people think of them. That’s an amazing quality that every person should strive to have.

3. They Learn New Things

A really great grandparent is someone who’s not afraid to learn new things. They take classes on how to use their brand new Apple computer, ask their grandchildren to teach them how to use their smart phone, they read books on gardening so they can create an amazing vegetable garden, etc. By learning new things they keep their minds young and sharp so they can keep up with their children and grandchildren.
