Ah, Pinterest. It’s one of the greatest social sharing websites to come out of this digital age that we live in. With all of the incredible craft projects, delicious recipes, adorable family photos and more, what’s not to love? When we see something that we like, we can pin it to our inspiration boards for later, when we decide to try our hand at re-creating some of the wonderful projects. But sometimes, they don’t always go exactly as planned. We expect Pinterest perfect, and we end up with a total pin-strosity. But that’s okay, because it gives us a chance to learn and hone our skills for next time, while experiencing some laughter and levity along the way!
#1 – Snowman or Slimer?
It’s always best to start out with a quick and easy food project/recipe. What started out as an innocent snowman cookie, after being baked at high temperatures, has turned into a sugar-ridden blob that more closely resembles Slimer from Ghostbusters than an actual snowman.
#2 – Beautiful Baby Photos
When it’s time to break out the camera for the annual family photos, have the children ready to smile for the camera when the shutter clicks.
#3 – To Infinity and Beyond
Make a Buzz Lightyear cake, they said. It will be fun, they said.
#4 – ‘Nailed’ It
When you feel like pampering yourself with a DIY pedicure, why not try a fun design you found on Pinterest? It’ll be fun! It can’t be that hard….right?
#5 – Lovely Love
As parents, we never need an excuse to take adorable photos of our little ones, but holiday themed photo-shoots are always a fun project to do, and the kids will love it too, won’t they?!

#6 – Whip My Hair
With summertime in full swing, there are awesome photo opportunities everywhere! Beaches, sunsets, gorgeous hair shots, the web is full of wonderful gems like this one.
#7 – Sweet Smelling Inferno
There is nothing better than the sweet scents of handmade candles. This lovely pin shows you how to create your very own all-natural candle with a clementine. It totally worked out.
#8 – When You See It
At first glance, it seems that this project actually turned out pretty good! But take a closer look and you’ll see what’s wrong here.
#9 – Santa Gnome!
The holidays are without a doubt the best time of the year, if for nothing else, but the delicious treats and sweet smells that fill the air. This festive Santa bread looks like a great treat to serve the family. Unless it turns out to look more like a garden gnome than a jolly old elf.
#10 – Nightmare Fuel
The original porcupine didn’t have teeth…why did they add teeth?!
