#9 – Awesome Absorption
We all know that plants absorb water. That is how they survive, after all. But did you know that depending on the color of the water that they absorbing, that they change color? This is a fun activity to teach the children exactly how plants receive water, but with a fun and colorful twist! While this particular experiment is being done with cabbage leaves, you can also use celery and even flowers!

#10 – Amazing Elephant Toothpaste
What kid doesn’t like a good old foamy mess? This experiment will provide them with just that! It is easily put together with some yeast, a plastic (or glass) bottle, liquid watercolors or food coloring and dish soap. Once combined, the ingredients react with each other and create a giant foamy reaction! Get creative and add sequins or glitter or anything else you can think up!
