If you look back on the Halloween nights from your childhood and remember dressing up in a completely plastic costume with plastic mask that had poor eye, nose, and mouth holes so you could barely see and breath, then you probably trick or treated in the 80s and 90s. Costumes have come a long way since then and so has the candy. Don’t get me wrong, the candy during our childhood was completely awesome, mainly because we were kids and didn’t care what it tasted or felt like. As long as it had sugar, we were happy. Let’s take a walk down memory lane and take a look at 10 awesome throwback Halloween treats from our childhood.
1. Atomic Fireballs
I’ll admit I LOVED these Atomic Fireballs. A lot of kids didn’t like them because they were hot, but I sure did! I would always trade candy with my friends and siblings to get more of these bad boys. I loved how they lasted seriously forever. I could put one in my mouth and it would seem like hours later I would still be sucking on it. As a kid, that’s the best kind of candy – one that lasts forever.

2. Wack-O-Wax Lips
I don’t ever even remember eating these wax lips, probably because they weren’t very good, but I sure do remember playing with them. I was always so excited to find wax lips in my candy haul when I got home from trick or treating. I also loved getting the vampire lips! It was so fun to play around with your friends with these in your mouths.
3. Razzles
Oh, Razzles. A classic 80s candy. You probably haven’t forgotten about these little candies because they’re often featured in movies set in the 80s. These little treats were so fun because you got the best of both worlds. First, you had a piece of candy, then it would turn into gum! Also, unlike a lot of other throwback candies, these actually tasted good.
