7. Pop Rocks
Pop Rocks are certainly one of the most iconic 80s and 90s candies, and for good reason. These little popping candies were really fun to eat and tasted really good, too. Even though I loved eating these, I always remember tensing up and getting nervous when I would put them in my mouth. I knew they wouldn’t hurt me, but the sensation of popping candy was so crazy and weird.

8. Cigarette Bubble Gum
For me, the cigarette bubble gum was hard to come across because my parents didn’t want me chewing it, and for good reason. I can’t imagine seeing my child playing with a fake, candy cigarette. Remember how there was extra powder on these so that when you would blow on it it would look like smoke was coming out? Definiltey not the best candy for kids to eat, but back then we didn’t know as much about the unhealthy effects of cigarettes like we do now.

9. Now & Laters
Now & Laters were definitely another one of those bracket-breaking candies that were oh so good. The flavors of these little candies were so delicious and their texture was so soft. Opening up my candy bag after trick or treating and seeing these little packets of six Now & Laters was like finding buried treasure.

10. Mr. Bones Puzzle Candy
Mr. Bones Puzzle Candy was perhaps one of the best Halloween candies there were. Not only were these little bone candies good, but you could actually click them together and make a skeleton. Not to mention that they came in a really cool plastic coffin! I mean, really, candy doesn’t get much better than that, especially for Halloween.
