#3 – Make The Cake
You don’t have to spend astronomical amounts of money on a cake that will just end up being destroyed anyway. Forego the fancy sugar flowers and edible pearls and make the cake at home. Many people often prefer the taste of a homemade cake, anyway. A simple box cake will do the trick, and the best part is that you can decorate it however you wish. Perhaps you can even enlist the kids’ help, too!
