4. Buy Sale Items in Large Quantities
Remember those sales we were talking about? It’s tempting to just buy the 1 quantity because you truly feel like you’re saving money. But you’re actually losing a huge opportunity to truly save long terms. On average, grocery stores put items on sale every 6-8 weeks. To truly save, you will need to buy 6-8 weeks worth of that item, so that you don’t have to buy it when it’s not on sale (remember, only buy things on sale!). Additionally, when you buy larger quantities you are building up your own stock pile at home, which will make meal planning that much easier! No last minute trips to store for a 4oz can of tomato paste!
