10. Toiletries
Even though I knew I wasn’t planning on dressing for a gala, I knew that after the blood, sweat and tears of delivery, I would want to take a shower. You won’t need much, but bring your essentials like face wash, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. I also brought my razor because I didn’t feel like scraping my sheets all night with my hairy legs. You can leave your flat and curling iron at home, but bring your blow dryer. I personally didn’t wear any makeup, but have a friend who refuses to take a photo without full hair and makeup, despite having just given birth. It’s up to you!
