11. Going Home Outfits
Shopping for your baby’s going home outfit is a right of passage of a mom-to-be. Many mamas pack that, and 40 other sleepers, bibs, hats and burp rags. You really only need 1 or 2 outfits, aside from the going home one. As for mom, you can either stay in your gown (I ended up doing that most of the time, and I’ve heard mom’s who have C-sections prefer it) or bring some comfy, loose fitting clothes to rest, but at least make sure you bring clothes to go home in. Now’s not the time to try and fit back into your pre-pregnancy jeans!
