4. Give Them Words Of Affirmation
Kids need to feel loved by their parents not only by what you do but the words you say also. They need to hear things like “I love you,” and “I’m so proud of you.” Words like these make any person feel great about themselves. It’ll boost your child’s confidence and they’ll know that you really do care about them.
5. Comfort Your Kids
There are so many times in a child’s life when they need comfort. When they fall, scrape their knee, a friend hits them or takes their toy, or when their brother calls them mean names are all times that a child needs to be hugged, kissed, and given words of comfort like “Everything is going to be alright.” When they receive this they will know that you will always be there for them when they are hurting and they’ll know that they can always come to you when life gets them down.
6. Cook For Them
Cooking for someone else certainly is an act of service since you are doing something nice for someone else. All the preparation and clean up that goes into cooking takes a lot of time and effort. It also shows your children that you care about them because you want them to have proper nutrition and you want them to be as healthy as they can be.
