4. Diapers Make Great Hats
Yes, diapers are expensive, and shouldn’t go to waste. But if you happen to have one that is defective, your baby will love wearing it as a hat! Ok, so maybe I like seeing my baby wear her diaper as a hat more than she does, but a diaper is just the right size for her sweet little head!
5. Sand Is Cooler Than The Ocean
During a beach vacation, I knew my son would want to play in the sand. What I didn’t know, was that his idea of “playing” in the sand was to lather his entire body with it. He didn’t want to make a sandcastle, or get buried in it. Nope. He just wanted to use it like it was the cool new way to bathe yourself. He quickly learned that all that sand and water don’t mix!
6. The Shower Can Double As A Playhouse
My daughter is my “have no fear” child. I am already dreading the teenage years. I remember one day I found her in my shower, playing with the shampoo and face wash bottles like they were the coolest things since sliced bread. I don’t know what’s so interesting about the shower and its contents, but if you’re ever wondering where your child is hiding, try checking there next time.
