7. Do You Allow Photography?
Labor and birth photography is very popular and for good reason. It’s wonderful to have photos of the beautiful moments leading up to your child’s birth as well as the moments after. If you plan on having something like this, check with your hospital to make sure they allow it. For legal reasons some may not allow photography, so you’ll want to know before you book your photographer if this is something you can even do.

8. Where Do We Park When We Get To The Hospital?
When you’re racing down the freeway while having painful contractions the last thing you and your significant other want to worry about is where to park when you get to the hospital. It will be good to know this ahead of time so you both can have more peace of mind and less stress at such a stressful and crazy time.

9. Can I Pre-Register?
Many hospitals allow you to pre-register so you don’t have to fill out any paperwork while you’re in the middle of painful contractions. If they do, I highly recommend you do this. The last thing you want to do when you’re screaming in pain and hunching over is filling out paperwork. Pre-registering will take a lot of stress and nuisance out of the delivery process and will make the process go much smoother.
