4. Exercise Together
A great way to bond together as a couple is to exercise together. You don’t necessarily have to do the exact same work out, in fact you can even just go to the gym together. Just the adrenaline and endorphins you get from working out will make you and your spouse happier and you can share your work out with each other when you’re done. Tell them what you loved or hated, and share what really made you feel the burn so they can try it next time.
5. Build Something Together
One of the things I love to do most with my husband is to build or create something together. When we were first married we made some art for our very first apartment. I still look at that art with great memories knowing that we made it together. It was so much fun deciding what we wanted to make, buying the supplies, and then actually making it together. Have fun, flirt, and play with each other while you’re making it, too. Put glue on their nose, slash some paint on their arm, or however else you can find ways to bring in a little fun.
6. Have An At Home Movie Night
Sometimes it can be hard to get out and do things when you have kids. Maybe you just don’t feel like leaving the house. These times are perfect for an at home movie night. Pick out a movie together that you’ve never seen before, then watch it. Pop popcorn, pull out the candy and sodas and enjoy the movie while you chow down on some fun treats just like you would if you were at the movies. It always helps to choose a light movie, such as a comedy. It will get you laughing and we all know that laughter is the best medicine. Enjoy laughing together and then in a few days and weeks you can talk about those funny parts of the movie that you loved.
