13. Make Paper Boats
Fashion some paper boats from cardstock and set them down one of the many rivers that have sprung up around your house. Your kids can even have a boat race to see who’s makes it down the river first!

The simplest activities are the best ones. Take a variety of cups and measuring containers outside. Let your kids guess which will fill the fastest.

15. Play In The Mud
If you’re really brave and have had a decent storm, why not let the kids run amuck in the mud? They can make mud pies, traipse through in their boots or bare feet, or just make some mud face masks. Since it’s not an everyday activity, they will LOVE it!
