7. Family Game Night
One of my very favorite things to do as a kid was to play games with my family. Pull out all your favorite board and card games and have some fun. Take turns playing each other’s favorite games and remember, it’s for fun so don’t let it get too competitive or serious. Just laugh and play with them and encourage them to do the same.
8. Have A Dance Party
There’s no party like a dance party, so put on some music and bust a move with your little ones. Be as silly as possible. Take turns leading different moves and having each other follow them. They’ll love seeing all the fun dance moves you come up with and I’m sure you’ll have lots of laughs as you watch them come up with some pretty interesting dance moves as well.
9. Take A Class Together
A really great bonding experience is learning with someone. Take your kids to a class and learn something new with them. It could be pottery, dancing, gardening, swimming, or whatever else you both are interested in. Make sure it’s something your kids want to learn, otherwise they probably won’t have very much fun.
