2. Leaf Weaving
If you live in a nice woodsy area, leaf weaving is a great way to make homemade art. Take a sturdy piece of cardboard and cut slits in the sides. Then wrap semi-loose thread (large caliber size) through the slits around the cardboard. Then show the kids how to interweave various types of leaves, long grass or bark. You will have a completely unique canvas by the time you’re done!
