2. Brush Daily- Twice
Just like for us adults, brushing twice a day is key to decreasing bacteria, those little buggers that cause cavities. You will have to supervise and assist your toddler brushing, because while they may think its fun to suck the toothpaste off the brush, they probably aren’t doing a good job of removing plaque. When it’s your turn to “help” make sure you are really concentrating on the flat surfaces of the teeth the most, where food can get trapped in molar crevices. The goal is to brush for 2 minutes each time, which seems like an eternity for a toddler. Do the best you can!
