2. Processed Cold Cuts
Who doesn’t love a good turkey sandwich? Well the next time you head to the deli, make sure you choose wisely because that “healthy” meat you’re eating may not be so healthy after all. If you are not choosing a “whole cut” selection of meats, you are probably picking a processed version. Processed meats are high in sodium so they last longer and are often cut, then combined with another type of meat or filler, then reshaped and cut to give you “turkey” (or chicken, etc). If you want to play it safe, ask for a whole cut at the deli counter!
