3. Have A Special “Milk-Only” Cup
Some toddlers easily transition from drinking water or juice in a bottle to a cup. But when you pour milk in it, they deny the cup for the bottle every time. This is a sticking point for parents who recognize the nutritional value of drinking milk, and thus allow bottle drinking to continue. If this is you, find another cup (yes, the search continues) they are willing to drink from and use that for milk only. You may have to find another style all together, but it will demonstrate that milk is an option- but from a cup only. You may battle for a few days which results in zero milk consumption, so just give them some extra cheese or yogurt. But sooner or later they will give in to the cup!
