You’ve taken the test three times and always see the positive sign. Congratulations, you’re pregnant! Not only are you probably elated, but a little nervous too. The first part of your pregnancy can be the hardest for a number of reasons, so we’ve compiled a brief list of some things you should know as you start growing that beautiful baby!
1. Moderate Exercise
The first trimester usually means you’re exhausted. Your body has taken on the ultimate challenge of growing another person and doesn’t leave much energy left for you! However exercise is very important for both mom and baby. Even if it’s a walk during your lunch break or when you get home from work, you are giving your body an extra boost. The key is that it’s moderate. Now is not the time to try CrossFit or train for a marathon (unless you were doing that before getting pregnant and have your doctor’s ok).
