4. Two-Step Voluminous Ponytail
I have thick hair that easily weighs down my pony tail almost instantly, no matter how many times I wrap a hair elastic around it. I usually end up with a bun because then at least I don’t have a saggy style, but it turns out there are ways to make even the thickest pony look perky. Splitting your pony into two sections before combining will give you a classy look that surpasses the boring pony for sure.
Here’s a quick video from Kayley Melissa that shows how easy you can make a bouncy ponytail, in 5 minutes!

5. Criss Cross Ponytail
A ponytail with a little detail makes it an entirely new look and I especially love easy details! This criss cross ponytail will do double duty, keeping your hair out of your face and pulled back tightly to last all day. It’s not as hard as it looks and you’ll love the extra style!

6. Braided Ponytail
I’m ashamed to admit I still can’t really do a french braid, and feel like I miss out on a lot of fashionable styles that involve intricate braiding. But in my defense, my daughter’s hair isn’t long enough to adequately practice on, so I’ll get there one day! In the meantime, this braided ponytail is perfect for a novice braider like myself. Just make two braids, one on each side of your face, gather in the back and then create a ponytail. It couldn’t be easier!

7. Woven Ponytail
Let’s just be honest and say I could do an entire post on all the amazing styles over at Twist Me Pretty. If you’ve never visited, I suggest you do. Now. That being sad, Abby at TMP is a skilled hair magician, and many of her styles require lots of practice on someone other than yourself. This woven ponytail however, can be easily done on yourself with just a few elastic bands, a mirror, and a little patience. This is a classy style with staying power that you can easily rock several times a week!
