7. Keep Your Car Smelling Clean

Did you know that dryer sheets have some amazing uses? One of the great uses is to put a few of the sheets in your car to keep it smelling fresh and clean. You never know what is spilled or dropped in a car or what messy stuff your kids brought in on their icky feet. All of that combined can make for one stinky car. Well, with a few dryer sheets stuffed between the seats of your car, it’ll smell fresh and clean all the time, even if it’s really not.

8. DIY Cookie Sheet Activity Tray

One of the most frustrating things about dealing with kids in the car is that they never have a good surface to put anything on. Whether they’re eating, watching something on a tablet, or trying to play with some toys, they have to try and balance all this stuff on their laps and most of the time it either falls off or falls between their legs where they have a hard time getting it out again. Well with a cookie sheet and some velcro strips you can make your own activity tray for them. All you need to do is drill some holes in the cookie sheet, then strap it onto the car seat with the velcro. It’s easy to remove and will help make your kiddos’ time in the car much easier. Once you have that set up, check out our own article right here on some great cookie sheet activities!

9. Bucket Pulley System

If you’ve got a long road trip coming up, or you will be unable to turn around a lot in your car either because of an injury, surgery, or pregnancy, you can make a bucket pulley system in your car. It enables you and your child to pass things back and forth to each other without you having to turn around all the time to hand them things. All you have to do is loop some rope around the handles on one side of the car, then tie a bucket onto the rope. Now you’ve got an awesome pulley system to make your life so much easier!
