I love finding fun ways to use every day items for crafts. It makes an unexpected piece that people will love seeing in your home. Surprisingly the letter pieces from the game Scrabble make wonderful craft pieces. I never knew how many crafts you could make either using the actual letter pieces from the game, or recreating your own larger ones. They make adorable pieces of decor and other accessories for your home. We’ve searched the internet and found 9 great ways to use Scrabble letters in various crafts.

1. Scrabble Ornaments

This scrabble letter ornament is beyond adorable. The little touch of fake snow sitting on top of the letters is the best part about the whole thing. The possibilities are endless when it comes to what you could write out with the letters. You could write “Merry Christmas,” “Ho, Ho, Ho,” and so much more. Get creative and have fun!

(Head over to Crafts By Amanda for lots of other great crafts not only for the holidays, but for your home and for kids as well).

2. Scrabble Coasters

Everyone can always use coasters in their home. There’s always that one piece of furniture in our home where the drinks end up. You can easily make your own coasters with scrabble letters and the best part is that you can make each coaster have a theme with the words you put on it. It could be tea themed, coffee themed, soda themed, alcohol themed, etc.

3. Large Scrabble Blocks

If you love scrabble letters, why not make some larger versions and use them as decorations? Not only are these adorable scrabble blocks easy to make, but they would look adorable sitting on top of a mantle, a book shelf, or a side table. You could write out your last name, specials words, and other things that have meaning to you.
