Most mornings, I’m too busy to do my makeup. Or, I’m just too tired to care about people seeing me bare-faced. But I do make an effort to wear some makeup when I have a few minutes to spare. Between school drop off, grocery shopping, household chores and meal planning, I’ve learned how to master the “5 Minute Face,” using 5 makeup and beauty products. This allows me to create a natural makeup look easily, so I leave the house feeling more confident, and I don’t have to cut into my valuable time to get it done. If you have 5 minutes to spare each morning (make time, mamas!), I encourage you to try this quick & easy look!

1. Morning Face Moisturizer
After you’ve washed your face in morning, start by prepping it with Even Brighter Everyday Moisturizer from Honest Beauty- the beauty company started by actress and The Honest Company founder Jessica Alba. I haven’t used this moisturizer myself, but the nice thing is that Honest Beauty offers a free trial, so that you can try before you commit!
Check out the Honest Beauty website for more skin care and makeup products.

2. Pressed Powder Foundation
Once your face is moisturized, create the base of the look by using a lightweight pressed powder foundation all over your face and neck. I used to be a sales rep for mark., the younger, trendier version of Avon, and I really like mark. Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation. It feels great on my skin, it isn’t too heavy and it covers really well. You can use it for your 5 minute face and beyond!

3. Light Powder Blush
One day I was in the market for a new blush. I was browsing the makeup sections at Target and spotted the e.l.f. Blush with Brush. (Ok, I spotted the $2.00 price tag, but I’m so glad I did!) This is the blush that I currently use everyday and I love it. It’s not cakey or clumpy, it goes on smooth, and it has a very pretty shimmer. For $2.00, you seriously can’t go wrong (plus, it gives you another reason to go to Target). Brush some on your cheeks to add a touch of color and a natural glow to your 5 minute face.
Visit your local Target store, or shop online at target.com to get this must-have makeup product.

4. Volumizing Mascara
Back when I was in high school, a friend asked me what mascara I used because she thought my eyelashes always looked so pretty. Even after all these years, I still favor Full ‘N Soft Mascara by Maybelline. I’ve tried other mascaras, but I always go back to Full ‘N Soft. I highly recommend it as an everyday, 5 minute face product.

5. Tinted Lip Gloss
Complete your 5 minute face with a tinted lip gloss. I like the C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint, available at Bath & Body Works. both in store and online. This gloss offers subtle color and shine, and comes in lots of yummy flavors! Just sweep it across your lips, smack them together and you’re ready to go!
