One of the most heartbreaking things in the world is when child is sick, especially sick with something life threatening. No child should ever have to suffer in pain or worry about their life. It’s so incredibly sad to see children in these circumstances, but I am often blown away by their courage and determination to fight and to try to make the best of what they have.
Many celebrities visit children’s hospitals not only to donate and help out in any way they can, but also to liven the spirits of those who may feel like all hope is lost. This young girl and her friend received the surprise of a lifetime as they turned the corner in the hospital and were visited by Captain Jack Sparrow himself. Watch as these girls cry with joy and happiness over seeing someone from a movie that they love.

Seeing the generosity of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow is so heartwarming. I’ll admit I teared up as I watched him embrace these young girls who were overcome with joy. I hope that every sick child no matter where they are can find joy even in the hardest of time.
