It’s no secret that being a waiter or waitress is a very difficult job. All you’re doing is serving and taking care of other people’s needs as they eat and drink. Despite the fact that they work incredibly hard they are often times treated very poorly, tipped very low, and paid very little as well. I’ve never personally been a server, but I’ve known many people who have and have shared horror stories about the rude people and horrible tipping. Servers work very hard for their money and mostly live off their tips.
The two guys in this video decided to help out the servers in Utah who, at the time, made $2.13 an hour. They wanted to surprise those servers that truly worked hard and deserved an awesome tip. Watch the server’s reactions as they find the tip these guys have left at the table. It’ll warm your heart and make you appreciate your server next time you’re eating out.
Now, I know I certainly can’t afford to tip my servers $200, but I’m certainly going to try and tip better for those servers who truly deserve it. We can all use a little extra help in this world. Let’s all pay it forward a little bit and help each other out in times of need.
