1. Having a bassinet is vital to your mental health

We all know that sleep deprivation can make a person cuckoo, so it’s important to have a bassinet for the first few months of your baby’s life. This is especially true for a breastfeeding mother’s as it’s easier to night nurse during the beginning months with your baby close by. Many bassinets come with an undercarriage compartment, which is also useful for storing diapers, wipes, etc.
