Like most things, men and women have different methods on accomplishing household tasks. In our house, loading the dishwasher “correctly” is one of the stupid things my husband I bicker about. His way is to just throw everything in haphazardly. My way involves saving space for plastic sippy cups and other things that will melt if left on the bottom. Trying to fit everything in is like playing the game Tetris. Luckily, there are people out there who are willing to make videos like this one to help us with problems like this, and to prove once and for all that you there’s a right way to load the dishwasher (not just YOUR way).

I’ll admit I never knew that tip about not pre-rinsing. I also always put all my pots and pans in the dishwasher. Definitely not going to be doing that anymore. Hopefully you learned something from this video too. What other tips do you know about running the dishwasher?
