4. You’ll Pee Yourself
We all know that pregnant women pee a lot more than normal, but did you know that your bladder control goes way down when you’re pregnant, too? I can’t tell you how many times I sneezed or coughed and peed myself a little bit. Or, I’d go to the bathroom and when I stood up somehow there was pee dripping down my leg like I wasn’t finished going when I stood up. I had to change my underwear often. Many women actually opt to wear panty liners to avoid any embarrassing moments while pregnant.
5. You Become The Snore Monster
My husband hates sleeping in the same room as me when I’m pregnant because suddenly I become a snore monster. Those wonderful pregnancy hormones that you always hear about cause swelling which will plug up your air passages and weight gain will have a similar effect. Those two things combined will likely cause you to snore which will give your partner a taste of their own medicine.
6. Morning Sickness Doesn’t Happen Just In The Morning
Whoever coined the term “morning sickness” was obviously never pregnant. Morning sickness does not last just in the morning like it sounds. It can last all day which makes the first trimester really brutal for many women. The good news is that for many women those symptoms subside when they hit their second trimester, so don’t feel too down if you’re experiencing the first trimester morning sickness. Most likely it will subside soon.
