7. Let Them Know You Were Listening
Next time you hear your spouse talk about how much they need a new phone case, a new pillow, a new coffee mug, etc., go buy what they need for them and surprise them with the gift. It’ll not only show your spouse that you are listening to them, but that you care enough about them to actually get what they need for them.

8. Do Their Chores
One of my very favorite things is when my husband surprises me and does the dishes for me, or makes dinner, etc. Why not turn the tables and do their chores for them for a change? I mean, lets face it, usually men do the dirty work around the house. It would be a nice break for them to have the lawn mowed or the trash taken out.

9. Give A Massage
There’s nothing better than getting a massage. It’s incredibly relaxing and feels oh so good. You know what’s even better than a massage? A surprise massage! Having someone start working out the knots in your back out of no where just because they want to is a wonderful feeling that makes you feel loved and cared for. Next time your spouse comes home from a long day at work, sit them down and give them a nice massage so they can relax and let loose.

10. Buy Tickets To Their Favorite Type Of Entertainment
If you really want to surprise your spouse and get them more excited than they’ve been in a long time, surprise them with tickets to their favorite band, their favorite sports team, or whatever else they love. Since tickets are generally expensive and hard to get, it’s not every day that someone gets to go to something like this. That makes it even more exciting and special and your spouse won’t believe you spent the thought, time, and money on them to arrange something like that.
